Father Brian Clary was appointed as the Pastor of Sacred Heart Parish in July 1, 2021 following in the line of holy, dedicated and respected priests since the opening of the parish at the end of the 19th century. Born in Boston and raised in Quincy, he attended Saint Mary’s Parish and Grammar School and is the youngest of a family of three. Ordained in 1997, he had assignments that include Saint Clare in Braintree, Saint Mary of the Assumption in Brookline, Saint Anselm Church in Sudbury, Saint Brendan, Saint Anne and Saint Martin de Porres in Dorchester. He has been the Director of the Priests’ Recovery Program of the Archdiocese of Boston since 2002.
