At this Christmas season as we commemorate and celebrate the birth of the Child Jesus, it is fitting to remember Mary, His Mother. Mary’s “yes” to God’s request made possible the bringing of the light of Christ into our world. In her beautiful litany, Mary Pothier provides us with an evocative and inspiring prayer that we can use to keep the Blessed Mother in Christmas. We can easily picture her holding her newborn baby in her arms and worshipping him, Our Lord and Savior, with a mother’s kiss.
